Sundara Hanuman: An offering to the ultimate devotee

'Sundara Hanuman' is a production that pays homage to some phenomenal aspects of Hanuman, partiuclarly displayed in the Sundara Kanda. These will be presented with artistic approaches featuring storytelling, music and a special surprise :). This production presents two portions of the Ramayana: Sundara Kanda and Sri Rama Pattabhishekam, each in a unique way. The stories & symbolisms woven together draw from over nine versions of the Ramayana. After the Sundara Kanda is read or narrated, it is followed with the pattabhishekam of Rama. This production too follows this custom, with a difference. The coronation of Rama will take place, in a special way.

'Sundara Hanuman' dives deep into the heart of Ramayana, combining mystical, magical and heartwarming moments through various art forms. The narrative of the production is in English, while the music spans various languages.

Sundara Hanuman is an in person event (with no live streaming) happening at Ravindra Kalakshetra from 5pm on 14th July, 2024.

The program schedule is as follows:

5:00-7:00PM: Sundara Kanda through storytelling and music

7:20-8:00PM: Sri Rama Pattabhishekam through storytelling and music

While I always grew up immersed in the stories from the Puranas, as I grew up, I started finding myself ask a lot of questions about them. Many a times, I am caught in conflict and confusion. And Vinay is one of the only story tellers whose narration helps me navigate through all of this.
