Supporting the Saroj Gupta Cancer Center & Research Institute Since 2016

Sudeshna Beacon of Hope (SBOH) was launched in India with an inaugural concert at Science City Auditorium, Kolkata in 2016 and later established as a 501c3 non-profit foundation in the USA in 2018. Since then, we have donated more than $55,000 to Saroj Gupta Cancer Center & Research Institute (SGCCRI). Thanks to all those who have been supporting us on this journey.

SBOH Concert is back LIVE in an Exciting Hybrid Format, Enabling Everyone Worldwide to Join

We had 4 consecutive Live shows from 2016 to 2019 - two in Kolkata and two in Washington DC. Then came the pandemic. Thanks to Tikkl, we were able to take the show virtual and through 2021-2022, we were able to have our next 3 SBOH Concerts online with record breaking donations. In 2023 we returned to a live concert in Kolkata, with a virtual streaming later.

Thanks to all your support, SBOH Concerts have continued - 8 concerts in 8 years, which has helped us keep the support continue for treatment of children at SGCCRI.

In 2024, we will have the live concert in Kolkata on December 7, 2023 at the Science City Mini Auditorium.

Many of our patrons and artists are spread around the world, and we will continue to have the VIRTUAL concert too. These will be streamed after the concert.

SBOH Concert 2024 features top artists from Kolkata & Mumbai - Kolkata's popular singer Debamalya Chattopadhyay, in his 35th year in the music industry, Voda Phone Shera Voice winner 2013 and Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Top 8 Swarnali Bose, National Award nominee Chandreyee Bhattacharya, Kolkata's popular western singer Sucheta Sanyal, Kolkata's rising star Rohini Bhose and Sudeshna's son Shohan from USA, and guest performances by Anjali Roy, who lost her leg to cancer at the age of 12 but continued her dream of dancing with one leg**.**
