Kolam: At the Threshold
Kolam: At the Threshold centers the threshold as both a physical and symbolic space—between inside and outside, tradition and modernity, belonging and exclusion. This piece explores ritual, cultural memory, and diasporic identity through the South Indian practice of kolam — geometric rice-flour threshold drawings passed through generations of women.
Led by Principal choreographer and Artist Rasika Kumar, the production integrates classical dance, music, spoken text, and multimedia design.
