Sunrise Concert by Mavin Khoo

Anchoring the morning’s performance will be Saami Ninne Kori, a radiant composition of the Tanjore Quartet. Its sweep across a constellation of ragams will give Mavin, Brindha and the orchestra a vibrant canvas that they will bring to life through meditation, exploration and play.

The concert is a fundraiser for the Sumanasa Foundation - whose mission is to explore new ways of building engagement with the arts and to open the doors to wider, more diverse audiences.

The recital begins at 6am, and rasikas are requested to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy the full experience. Seating is primarily on the floor, with a limited number of chairs available for those who require them.
