Intersections: Edition 1
Intersections: Edition 1
Sparsha Arts Foundation presents Intersections: Edition 1. This edition features two dynamic artists - Vijay Kumar S., presenting 'Echoes of Thinai' and Thilagavathi Palani, presenting 'Alli Thilagam'. Join us for an evening of evocative performances.
Note from Vidhya Subramanian: Sparsha denotes a connection—the impact or influence of one thing upon another, resulting in an effect or change. In keeping with this mission, I am thrilled to introduce INTERSECTIONS, Sparsha’s new initiative. Through this festival, we hope to create space for performance that is born out of crossroads: between the personal and the professional, between theory and practice, and between art forms. Through ideas that collide, crossover, and find a distinct home, Intersections brings to you artists who negotiate deeply with their craft. For the first iteration of this festival, I am delighted that Thilagavathi Palani and Vijay Kumar have accepted our invitation to present their work—work that compels the spectator to take notice, to think deeply, and to carry a piece of it in their hearts.
