Sāraswatham

Sāraswatham, co-founded by Renjith & Vijna, is a humble initiative that hopes to make a difference to the world through the medium of performing arts. The seeds of this initiative were sown in 2002 by Renjith Babu. The name Sāraswatham, which stands for ‘knowledge’ or ‘inward journey’, emerged from a moment of serendipity, a moment that also provided a new sense of direction in 2016.

With different verticals dedicated to teaching, outreach, well-being, and performance, Sāraswatham aims to create a space for creativity, thought, and action. Apart from conducting regular Bharatanatyam and Allied Arts classes, they host various workshops, lecture-series, talks, and performances on a regular basis; serving a varied audience of students, connoisseurs, practitioners, and avid readers.
