Spring "Nowruz" Celebration at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda!

The Iranian Federated Women's Club/Payvand in partnership with the City of San Jose District 10, Council member Johnny Khamis, has prepared a very special and intimate event for Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda, which is located at 200 E. Santa Clara Street in San Jose.
PERFORMERS, ARTISTS and PROGRAM
All of this will be to welcome and celebrate a bountiful and prosperous Persian New Year. A limited number of tickets will be available via our event page on Tikkl.com, “Nowruz 2018.” Your support and attendance will help IFWC/Payvand continue forth with its commitment to our local communities by empowering women and promoting the Persian arts and culture through education, scholarships, and cultural experiences.
The Persian New Year, commonly referred to as "Nowruz," is a spring festival of Persian origin, which has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years. It marks the first day of spring. The festival of Nowruz is celebrated by many groups of people in the Middle East, and Central and South Asia, but particularly by Persians or various Iranian peoples.

Plenty of free (with validation) parking is available. Please bring your parking ticket to get validated at the event.
The guest will park in the garage by pulling a ticket at entry of garage. 473 spaces available.
· The guest will bring their entry ticket with them to the event venue.
· The entry ticket will be validated using the validation machine issued in the Rotunda.
