An immersive, multidisciplinary experience that transcends time and space, BHAKTI invites audiences into a realm where spirit, movement, and memory converge.

Through evocative dance, resonant music and immersive theatre, BHAKTI channels a shared longing, an ache toward belonging, purpose, and unity.

By celebrating the extraordinary lives and teachings of revered figures, “Bhakti” seeks to inspire a renewed sense of connection and purpose in an ever-changing world. The premiere will take place in Bengaluru marking a milestone in contemporary Indian performing arts.

ABOUT MAYURI UPADHYA

Mayuri Upadhya is a visionary choreographer, curator, entrepreneur, and thought leader in contemporary Indian dance. Renowned for redefining traditional forms through a modern lens, her work weaves classical Indian movement with a contemporary vocabulary to tell timeless stories.

She is the recipient of the Best Original Choreographer award by Broadway World for the celebrated musical Mughal-e-Azam. As the lead choreographer for The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation—now in its third season and premiering at Lincoln Center, New York—Mayuri continues to leave an indelible mark on global stages.

A three-time curator at the Serendipity Arts Festival and the Artistic Director of Nritarutya Dance Company, she seamlessly blends performance, curation, and pedagogy to shape the future of dance.

1. Ticket Purchase and Entry

  • Kindly be seated by 7:20 PM sharp to ensure a timely start to the performance. Doors will close at 7:45 PM.
  • Tickets are valid only for the date and time specified and grant access to the event venue.
  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted unless the event is canceled or rescheduled.
  • Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain. Any such action may render the ticket void.
  • Attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed).
  • The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the event without refund for violation of these terms or for disruptive behavior.

2. Event Changes and Cancellations

  • The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event’s schedule, lineup, or venue.
  • In the event of a cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via the Platform and offered a refund or ticket transfer, at the organiser’s discretion.
  • Postponement or rescheduling of the Event does not automatically qualify for a refund unless specified by the Organizer.

3. Code of Conduct

  • Harassment, intoxication, or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Violators may be removed without refund.
  • Attendees must respect performers, staff, and fellow attendees at all times.
  • The Event is an inclusive space. Discrimination of any kind will result in immediate removal.
  • Eatables are NOT allowed

4. Media and Photography

  • By entering the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes.
  • Personal photography and video recording are not permitted, except during the curtain raiser. Volunteers will intervene if this policy is not respected.
